Our Story Has Evolved

When I started this business, as I’ve said before, it was almost by mistake. In the beginning, it was really just me, and when something needed to be done or a decision needed to be made, I did it. I learned as I went.

As this little business has grown, I’ve learned so much about what works, what doesn’t, and what I might do differently today. I’ve always believed that doing something—even imperfectly—is better than standing still out of fear of getting it wrong. And if time has taught me anything, it’s that when you know more, you do better.

So, this summer we undertook a rebranding of CCWW. I can’t express how wonderful it has been to make decisions with intention, to be guided by professionals who truly know what they are doing, and to take everything we’ve learned over the years and use it to better communicate who we are.

Yesterday, our new website, Christina Puchi, went live, and this letter, along with the others I’ve written over the years, will have a home there.

I have so much pride in what we have built, how we have grown, and all we have learned. As you know well by now, I’m a work in progress, and so is this company. We will always be evolving, refining and learning as we go.

I am beyond grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us and to the partners who have helped guide us along the way.

Each of my children has been a part of this company from the very beginning—really, even before that—and each of them has played a pivotal role in making it what it is today. I lean on them constantly. They know more than I do about technology and so many other things, and they are always generous with their knowledge when I need a question answered—or when I don’t even know the right question to ask.

We are not trying to be like other companies. That has never been what I’m trying to do here. We are simply trying to be the best version of us we can be, so that we can make the best pieces I can imagine.

Our pieces are feeling and emotion translated into form. That isn’t going to change.

During this process, someone said something to me that stayed with me: our story and our product were strong; what was missing was how well we were communicating those things to the world—to you.

I hope the work we have done, and will continue to do, allows you to see and feel who we are a little more clearly.

I am beyond lucky to do something that brings me joy and gives me purpose, and incredibly grateful that so many of you have chosen to be part of it.
